My wife and I saw a great play tonight, Fragment/o/s Of Air/e, at this charming theater. Our first visit but certainly not our last. So very impressed with the quality of the story and acting. The stage is quaint, cozy, and personal. The show "Gloria" was well produced, well written, and very well acted by a cast of passionate actors who gave their all to distract us from our mundanity. More importantly, the audience was enthralled and taken aback by the very close encoutner, palpable fervor, and underrepresented cast that left it all on stage. Small, intimate community theater with incredible staff. We first came to see "Zanadu" and it was really fun. Aisles are a little too narrow and constricting but it has a wide, open stage. No bad seats in the house. This theater definitely has it's charms! And it's exciting that they're bringing together talented, local actors and interesting plays into Chula Vista.More importantly, the audience was enthralled and taken aback by the very close encoutner, palpable fervor, and underrepresented cast that left it all on stage. This is a small, intimate stage in Chula Vista (maybe 50 seats). You feel like you are part of the play. The play we saw was an original work and very entertaining. The actors were excellent. The playhouse is located on a fashionable shopping street with ample street parking, coffee shops and restaurants. The lobby sells refreshments at intermission.More importantly, the audience was enthralled and taken aback by the very close encoutner, palpable fervor, and underrepresented cast that left it all on stage.
